"Render" cover mock-up

Alas, due to copyright law this can never be my cover for Render.  But a girl can dream and share, right?   But this does give you an idea of the direction I want to go for the next cover.  I'm also considering releasing a new cover for Shatter this summer leading up to Render's release that follows a design philosophy that's more similar to this mock-up.  For Shatter, I simply used my own photographs for the sake of expediency and thrift.  The new cover would feature Faela on the cover.  But that all depends on which artist I'm able to commission and how much it will cost me.  Enjoy!

Oh I am sure an enterprising artist can come up with something close to this. I watched Prince of Persia again last night with my two kids. He'd make a great looking Kade. :D

One of my students, who's a very talented artist, offered to make a few possibilities for cover art over spring break. He's bored. He posted some weapons and costuming sketches last night. I'm really excited to see what he comes up with.

Hee, I was re-watching Prince of Persia last night as well. I just love all the pakour that he does, because it's something I've always imagined Kade doing. I think he looks the most like Kade during the invasion of Alamut. The costuming and the fighting styles are just perfect. Especially because he's fighting with his two shamshirs, which is one of the blades that I base the Daniyelan weapons on and his fighting with two blades is exactly how I picture.

Aloha Elizabeth,

I just finished reading "Shatter" all I can say is BRILLIANT! I could not stop readying, thank goodness I have a kindle. When my eyes got to tired, I would turn on the audio and let my dear friend kindle read to me :-)

Short question please...Do you have a target release date for "Render"?

Please dont have us wait to long :-)

Thanks, Kandy! I don't have a specific date yet for "Render's" release, but I am working toward a summer release. (Think July.) So it's not too terribly far away. Speaking of which, I need to get back to grading research paper final revisions, so I can try to finish up draft zero of "Render" this week!

"Render" is due out this summer (Hopefully, July). But no firm date is set yet, but it will be available immediately on Kindle when it is released.

After stumbling across Shatter on Amazon, downloading it to kindle and reading it ... all I can say is that I am addicted. Couldn't put it down! I keep coming back to check on Render's release date ... guess I have to read something else till July. It's hard to wait, but I'm sure it will be worth it. Thank you so much for sharing your talent with us.

May I say how much I Have really enjoyed Shatter. I can't wait for the next instalment, you are a talented writer and I love your style.
